Drive Up a Mountain to an Observatory

'Drive Up a Mountain to an Observatory' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Daniel. Take a drive in a BMW M3 convertible sports car to the very top of Mt. Hamilton. Small lap dogs are welcome, as long as they don't go on the seat. The experience lasts 4 hours and can accommodate up to 3 guests ages 18 and up. Rates start at $160 per person.

San Jose Walks & Talks serves the community by highlighting the unique aspects of downtown San Jose and at the same time provides local students an opportunity to develop real job skills while running their own walking tour company. SoFa Dog Park

SoFa Dog Park is located within a pocket park in the heart of San Jose’s arty district of SoFa. The hip park features separate play areas for big and small dogs, artificial turf for all-weather play, benches, waste stations, and water bowls. As you travel along the historic, winding narrow-gauge track to the summit of Bear Mountain, the conductor will entertain you with the history of the railroad and its locomotives, which were once used to haul giant redwood logs out of the forest. Tours are offered daily and departure times vary by season.
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

The park has been established to preserve forests and the areas next to the watershed of the San Lorenzo River, including a number of huge redwood trees. The park is open from sunrise to sunset every day and the Visitor Center is open from 10am to 4pm.
